I'm Rachel Koren

Cashmere Hair’s Co-Founder, CEO, and CMO, Rachel Koren, appeared on ABC’s TV show SHARK TANK in December of 2013, alongside business partner Melissa Koren. The women went on to pitch their Clip In Hair Extension business to the Sharks after only 5 months of being in business. Even though no deal was made, they walked away with an episode that aired, sharing their clip-in hair extensions with the world. With persistence and the Shark Tank opportunity, Rachel and Melissa worked hard to build the successful business they are today, 10+ years later.

“Our story resonates with people in so many ways. Hair is such an important aspect of just about everyone’s appearance. For example, my 'Aha!' moment came when my career in modeling came into jeopardy after letting them cut my hair for a modeling job. Clip-in hair extensions became a huge necessity for me, saving me from losing jobs, and giving me the hair back that was lost. I have been wearing clip-in hair extensions ever since. We are so blessed to be recognized as a successful company and feel so grateful to help people all over the world achieve gorgeous hair with DIY hair extensions.
